Social responsability is one of the main components of Abadá-Capoeira's phylosophy, which is based on tis founder's ideology. In addition to being involved in collectice campagins, the association has initiated social and educational mobilization action campagains over the years. They were framed on charity, respect to other, peace and environemntal conservation, teaching and alerting everyone to important issues for the collective well being. Some examples of these campaigns are:

" Citizens against misery and hunger" (food drive for the hungry)
"Cold weather clothing drive"  collecting clothes and coats for the needy)
" Capoeirista Sangue Bom" (promoting blood donation)
" Peace is never enough" (awareness of the importance of being tolerant and respecting each other for a peaceful world)
" Preserving nature through capoeira" (inroming, teaching and acting in favor of the environment)
" Fighting the dengue fever" (disease prevention education)
" Disarmament" (encouraging private citizens to disarm of personal weapons)
" Get rid of the drugs" (awareness campaign of the consequences of substance abuse)
" Combating AIDS" (disease prevention education)
" Traffic education" (teaching the traffic laws)
"Against Tobbacco" (awareness of the consequences of tobbacco use)

Abadá-capoeira DC follows these association's guidelines  and has been also developing activities to mobilize and educate its members, families, friends and the community  for a healthier and equal world.
